DISC Spine Institute Responds to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Crisis with Virtual Doctor Visits

The Coronavirus pandemic has led to widespread changes around the world and forced several companies to temporarily close, and the DISC Spine Institute, an industry leader in spinal surgery and minimally invasive procedures, is committed to doing our part to slow the spread of the virus. But, as we all know, back and neck pain doesn’t take a break for world events.

In order to continue providing much-needed resources to back and neck pain sufferers, the DISC Spine Institute is now offering virtual doctor visits over the phone.

Our New Virtual Doctor Visit Over the Phone

Now, patients can speak directly to one of the practice’s Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Spine Surgeons over the phone so they can address and start a treatment plan for their back and neck pain while remaining safer at home. This service applies to both new and existing patients.

To schedule a virtual doctor visit over the phone, patients can either:

• Fill out a Phone Consultation Form.
• Call the office at 469-919-5959 to speak to a member of the DISC Spine Institute staff, who will go over the process and schedule the doctor visit with one of the practice’s surgeons.

During the virtual visit over the phone, the doctor will tailor a treatment plan specifically for each patient. Patients will be expected to fill out new patient paperwork if you have never been seen by the DISC Spine Institute before.  You will also need to provide verification of insurance, and any X-rays, MRIs and CT scans you may have.
