An Impressive Background Dr. Indresano brings with him extensive training coupled with an impressive educational background, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry from Carlton College, a top 10 liberal arts college, and his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated at the top of his class. He also completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, one of the highest-ranked orthopedic training programs in the nation, where he also served as the academic chief of the residency program and was published in peer-reviewed journals. Fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, one of the leading spine programs in the country, yielded Dr. Indresano the Fellow Research Award for spine research. Dr. Indresano’s philosophy, which emphasizes non-surgical treatments for back pain wherever possible, combined with his vast skills, have made him a sought-after medical expert by patients and a respected professional by his peers.
